Our Lincolnshire based client are looking for aManagement Accountantto join their team, they will be responsible for providing financial insights and support to the sales and marketing teams of the business.

THE ROLE

TheManagement Accountantis responsible for preparing financial reports, supporting budgeting and forecasting processes and preparing monthly management accounts. They will act as a financial business partner to the commercial team to ensure accurate and realistic budgeting and forecasting, key responsibilities include:

• Assist in the preparation of the commercial annual budgets and monthly forecasts
• Prepare weekly, monthly and annual commercial reports for circulation to the leadership team
• Work alongside the Financial Reporting team to ensure all commercial related audit queries are managed effectively
• Monitor and report on budget performance, providing insights and recommendations for corrective action
• Identify opportunities for process improvements in commercial reporting and analysis
• Ensure sales pricing is updated in the system accurately and timely

THE CANDIDATE

The idealManagement Accountantwill have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels. Other attributes include:

• Working towards a recognised accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
• 2+ years experience in a manufacturing environment - preferred but not essential
• Highly numerate and literate
• High level of attention to detail
• Excellent Excel and IT skills
