Our Lincoln based Client is looking to appoint a Financial Controller to join their team, you will lead the Finance Team and be instrumental in the development, planning and implementation of accounting controls and processes.
THE ROLEThe ideal Financial Controller will be self-motivated, driven, results oriented and will oversee cash flow reporting and forecasting to include budgetary guidelines, responsibilities include:
- Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts (P&L and Balance Sheet)
- Manage statutory accounts and audit process
- Reconcile e-commerce debtor accounts (Amazon, eBay, PayPal, TikTok) and bank accounts
- Process UK VAT returns and oversee EU VAT submissions
- Supervise payroll and accounts payable
- Streamline accounting systems and processes
- Manage and participate in ad hoc tasks and projects as required
The successful Financial Controller will be an effective and confident communicator across all levels of the organisation, other skills required include:
- A qualified (ideally ACA, ACCA or CIMA) individual with 4-5 years post qualification experience
- An effective and confident communicator across all levels of the organisation
- Financial management skills
- Excellent analytical skills
- PC proficient, with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and excellent Excel skills
- Self-motivated, driven and results oriented
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
