Are you an experienced asbestos surveyor ready to take on a new challenge with a Local Authority?

Role Overview:

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join an established, well-regarded local authority on a 6-month interim contract. You will be part of a team dedicated to conducting independent property risk assessments and proposing unique solutions to health and safety issues across a variety of buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting management and refurbishment asbestos surveys.
  • Overseeing asbestos remediation projects.
  • Project management of asbestos removal, liaising with licensed asbestos removal contractors.
  • Performing quality assurance tasks related to asbestos management.
  • Executing ad-hoc asbestos removal works as needed.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant asbestos legislation and guidelines.
  • Communicating effectively with clients throughout the asbestos survey and report writing process.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • BOHS P402 certification (or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in asbestos surveying and analysis.
  • Strong technical understanding of asbestos legislation and guidelines.
  • Experience in project management within the asbestos industry.
  • Excellent communication and client management skills.
