Our client based in Lincoln is looking for a Retail Shop Assistant to assist in their local Butchers. As part of this role, you will be the face of the Butchers and will be required to always demonstrate excellent customer service.
This is an opportunity for permanent work after a 12-week probation period for the right candidate.
Duties for this role will include:
- Setting up the counter at the start of the day.
- Serve Customers to a high standard as the face of the company.
- Help Customers with orders. E.g. Loading into their car if required.
- Preparing meat to be served (Experience is beneficial but not essential training will be provided where needed).
- Delivering orders to customers houses using company van.
For this role you must have a good customer service background.
Butchery experience in any background including retail and industrial is advantageous but not essential if you are willing to learn the different aspects involved.
It is a Monday to Saturday role and hours will be between a 6:30am and 7am Start. Finish times will be between 3pm and 4:15pm. Saturday will be a 1:30pm finish time.
Pay is dependent on experience. Starting on £26,100 per annum based on a 44 hour work week and can earn up to £27,400 for those with butchery experience.
