Job Description:
Aspion are seeking a reliable and professional Class 1 Driver to join our team in Lincoln. This role involves fridge work and multi-drop deliveries to various supermarkets. If you thrive in a night shift environment and enjoy working independently while ensuring timely and safe deliveries, this position is ideal for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting multi-drop deliveries to supermarkets across the region.
- Operating Class 1 vehicles with refrigerated trailers.
- Ensuring all goods are transported and delivered in accordance with temperature-controlled requirements.
- Completing pre- and post-vehicle checks, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Managing and adhering to delivery schedules to maintain a high standard of service.
- Handling relevant documentation and using any required onboard technology systems.
- Communicating with the transport team regarding any delays, issues, or feedback.
- Ensuring compliance with driving hours regulations and health and safety standards.
Essential Requirements:
- Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) driving license.
- Up-to-date Driver CPC qualification.
- Valid digital tachograph card.
- Proven experience in fridge work and multi-drop deliveries.
- Strong understanding of road safety and driving regulations, including tachograph rules.
- Good communication skills and professional demeanor.
- Ability to work nights and manage early starts.
