National Account Manager - FMCGUp to £55K, plus bonus potential circa 20% & car allowance

We are currently looking for an experienced National Account Manager with a track record in establishing and developing relationships with key retailers. An exciting opportunity to join an established business who are keen to expand, with realistic goals in place to achieve further presence within the market.

What You'll Do:As a National Account Manager, you will be at the forefront of building and nurturing relationships with key retail clients. You will oversee the development and execution of strategic account plans to grow and strengthen these partnerships. Your ability to manage high-value accounts, negotiate terms, and identify growth opportunities will be key to your success.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow relationships with national retail accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and service.
  • Develop and implement strategic account plans to drive sales, profitability, and brand presence.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with retail partners, balancing business objectives with client needs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product development, logistics) to ensure seamless delivery and performance.
  • Analyze account performance and trends, providing actionable insights to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Identify new business opportunities and drive initiatives to maximize account potential.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activity, and retail market changes to maintain a competitive edge.
