Site Engineer/Senior Site Engineer - East Midlands

Our successful main contractor client are looking for an experienced and efficient site engineer/senior site engineer for their engineering/construction department.


As a site engineer, you will monitor diversified aspects of construction project management. This will include planning, coordination and supervision of on-site activities. You will ensure all aspects of the project align with engineering and design specifications, industry standards and construction regulations. You will also foster effective communication by liaising with contractors, subcontractors and other project stakeholders.

Duties

Oversee site construction activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and design requirements.

Conduct regular inspections, collaborate with project managers and subcontractors, and manage procurement to ensure project progression and timely completion.

Analyse technical documents, identify risks, and maintain accurate project records to minimize delays, cost overruns, and safety issues

Experience/Skills

Experience in a similar site engineer role is essential (pre-construction and delivery).

Excellent interpersonal, leadership and communication skills.
