Working hours: 2 rotating weeks, AM, PM

We are now seeking to recruit CNC turner to join a busy manufacturing precision engineering company based in Lincoln. This is permanent position, and the CNC Turner would ensure that manufactured parts conform to drawings provided.

Responsibilities of CNC Turner:

  • Setting / Operating CNC lates machines – multi-manning as required
  • Ensuring processed parts conform to drawing
  • Ensuring parts are processed in the allowed time
  • Ensuring all documentation is accurate
  • Supporting the area in carrying out alternative tasks as required
  • Supporting other team-members as required

Expectation:

  • Applicants should be able to read Engineering drawings, use standard measuring equipment and understand general turning principles, (with a background of CNC).
  • Tasks will include setting and operating CNC lathes, editing programmes as necessary, making offsets as required, ensuring parts conform to drawings.

A Shift Monday to Thursday 6am to 1:35pm 6am to 12:45pm

B Shift Monday to Thursday 1:25pm to 9:05pm Friday 12:35pm to 7pm
