Job Purpose:As a Prosecution Admin Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality administrative support to police officers, the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS), and His Majesty's Courts and Tribunal Service (HMCTS). Your contributions will directly impact the progression of cases through the court system, ensuring justice is served efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Case File Management:- Collate and prepare prosecution files to meet National File Standards.- Process initial charge, Crime Postal Requisitions, and Remand files with precision.

Data Integrity:- Input, update, and maintain accurate records on police and national systems.- Ensure all information is readily available and accessible.

Court Preparation:- Administer Magistrates and Crown Court files, ensuring timely updates and quality assurance.- Create electronic case files for criminal investigations and input court hearing results.

Communication:- Act as the primary point of contact for case file progression, liaising with CPS and officers.- Respond to inquiries and provide guidance as needed, ensuring excellent customer service.

Quality Assurance:- Ensure all correspondence is recorded and updated within specified time frames.- Provide feedback to officers on the quality of case files and offer support as required.
