Elevation Recruitment Group are working in partnership with a leading heavy industry manufacturer to recruit  Furnace Engineers to join their new team based in Lincoln.

Working Hours- Days, afters, nights on weekly rotation

Location- LincolnSalary – £38,311 with matric scheme to go up to £43,000Benefits

Duties of the Furnace Engineer will include: 

  • Work to the company's Safety, Health, Environmental policy, associated standards and procedures
  • Providing first line maintenance/breakdown
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance tasks
  • Facilitate lean ways of working to minimise waste and maximise efficiency
  • Leading, coaching and developing other employees
  • Practise continuous improvement, innovation and pro-activeness for improved ways of working
  • Ensure that all parts required are booked out correctly

We are keen to speak with Furnace Engineers with the following:

  • BTEC/ NVQ qualified in an electrical engineering
  • Ideally electrical experience in a medium to heavy manufacturing environment due to nature of the business
  • Practical Mechanical / Electrical hands-on skills
  • Good fault finding and problem solving skills
  • Good knowledge of continuous improvement programmes, particularly planned maintenance activities
