Multi-Skilled Operative (Line Leader / Machine Operator)Location: Spalding, LincsPay Rate: £12.90 p/h (training), £13.50 p/h (fully trained)Shifts: 5 days a weekContract: Temp to PermWe are seeking Multi-Skilled Operative to take on a dual role as Line Leader and Machine Operator within our clients production team. This position requires strong leadership skills alongside the ability to operate and monitor machinery effectively.Key Responsibilities:Machine Operation:* Set up, operate, and monitor production machinery to ensure efficiency* Ensure the correct packaging, materials, and labels are used for each production run* Conduct quality control checks, including weight verification and product consistency* Identify and resolve minor machine faults, escalating issues as necessary* Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety standardsLine Leadership:* Supervise and coordinate a team of operatives, ensuring production runs smoothly* Allocate tasks and monitor performance to meet production targets and quality standards* Ensure sufficient stock of raw materials and packaging is available throughout the shift* Train and support new and temporary staff, ensuring adherence to procedures* Liaise with other departments, including Quality Control, Engineering, and Warehouse teamsGeneral Responsibilities:* Complete all necessary production and quality documentation accurately* Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations* Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce wasteWhat We Offer:?
