About This RoleAs a Governance and Controls Analyst, you'll be instrumental in embedding a strong financial control culture. You'll act as a trusted advisor to the finance team, ensuring risks are managed effectively and processes are continually improved. If you're passionate about governance and enjoy collaborating to drive meaningful change, this is the role for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the go-to expert for applying group financial control policies across the organisation.
- Develop and refine finance policies and processes to strengthen risk management.
- Work closely with risk owners to provide practical solutions for managing risks.
- Maintain and review process maps annually for all finance processes.
- Monitor controls and tailor compliance frameworks to fit the business's needs.
- Collaborate with internal audit and compliance teams to resolve issues effectively and on time.
What We're Looking For
- Fully qualified (CIMA/ACCA) with a proven track record in governance and controls.
- Experience with internal control frameworks such as COSO.
- Confident working with risk management tools and Excel at an advanced level.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to assess complex issues.
- A great communicator who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
