A successful accountancy firm in Lincoln are seeking to hire into a key Accountant job, titled Client Manager and focused on developing long term relationships with new and existing clients, meeting their accounting, business support and growth needs. Clients include small limited companies, partnerships, sole traders, property landlords and personal tax returns. 

The working hours are standard, 37.5 per week, the firm pay well, offer a nice office environment, 25 days holiday per year and ongoing career development for the right person.

To be considered, you will have experience gained from working in an accountancy firm, but can be qualified or qualified by your experience. ACA, ACCA and AAT qualifications are helpful, but you will be considered if you have the right experience and no qualification.

  • In this job, you will conduct client meetings, both in person and virtually, to discuss and deal with accounts, tax and wider business advisory points
  • Building and maintaining strong, professional relationships with clients, colleagues, and external partners, you will manage the workflow of client portfolios efficiently, including pre-year-end meetings, the preparation and submission of annual accounts, tax returns, and liaising with HMRC and Companies House on behalf of clients.
  • The job also includes completion of self assessment tax returns, HMRC Let Property Campaign and 60 day CGT returns.
  • Perform bookkeeping, VAT returns, CIS and payroll services, organise, update, and maintain accurate records using relevant software tools.
