Client Manager required. My client is a well-established firm of chartered accountants based in Lincoln, and due to recent growth are seeking a Client Manager to join their welcoming and friendly team.

My client provides a personal and professional accounting service tailored to all of their clients, which includes; start-ups, sole traders, partnerships, limited companies, property landlords, contractors, freelancers and individual taxpayers.

Client Manager Job Overview
  • Conduct client meetings, both in person and virtually to engage with potential new clients and support existing clients
  • Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with clients, colleagues and external partners
  • Manage the workflow of client portfolios efficiently, including pre-year-end meetings, the preparation and submission of annual accounts, tax returns, and liaising with HMRC and Companies House on behalf of clients
  • Complete self-assessment tax returns, HMRC Let Property Campaign and 60-day CGT returns
  • Perform bookkeeping, VAT returns, CIS and payroll services for assigned clients

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in an accountancy practice, and will be ACA/ACCA qualified/part-qualified.

Client Manager Job Requirements
  • Part-qualified/qualified ACA/ACCA
  • 3+ years' experience working in an accountancy practice
  • Up to date tax knowledge
  • Good working knowledge of accounting software's (TaxCalc, Xero, Quickbooks, Dext)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Efficient organisation and time management skills

This is a fully office-based role so suitable candidates must have a reasonable commute to the Lincoln area.

Client Manager Salary & Benefits
  • £30,000-£40,000 basic salary (depending on experience)
  • 24 days annual leave + birthday off
