Commercial Finance Manager – Lincoln – up to £70,000 + Car Chase & Holland are delighted to be working with one of the UK’s leading privately owned businesses, who are seeing consistent growth and success, including winning various awards. They are offering a fantastic opportunity to join their senior finance team as Commercial Finance Manager.As Commercial Finance Manager you will play a critical role in driving the financial performance of the business. You will drive financial insights and analysis in order to support strategic decision making, along with managing commercial budgeting and forecasting.  You will lead and develop a team of 2 PQ FBP’s.In return:

Responsibilities will include:
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic initiatives and business growth
  • Prepare and present detailed financial analysis, reporting and forecasting to the SLT
  • Lead budgeting and business planning for Sales & Marketing
  • Monitor actual v budget commercial performance monthly, including detailed variance reporting, highlighting risks and making recommendations for actions
  • Support and challenge the sales team to drive financial performance and maximise margins
  • Work cross functionally to evaluate new growth opportunities and manage tender processes effectively
  • Ownership of various industry trackers and responsible for ensuring effective pricing strategies to protect margin and manage liabilities
  • Development of BI to improve business analysis and insight to give real time information
The ideal candidate will be:
  • Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Strong commercial finance experience
  • Driven individual who is to make impact
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to present effectively and influence decisions
  • Stakeholder management, including strong interpersonal skills and ability to build effective relationships
  • Continuous improvement mentality
