We are working in partnership with a 3rd sector organisation to recruit a Finance Manager. The role is part-time working 15 hours per week.
Purpose of the Finance Manager role:
The purpose of the role is to ensure efficient financial management by upholding the highest standards of budget review and financial controls, supporting the organisation's goal of encouraging more people to be more active more often.
About you:
You will be qualified to either AAT/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent and have a proven track record of implementing effective financial controls, optimising budgets, and providing insightful analysis to support decision-making. You will be able to communicate complex financial information to the CEO and board members.
About the Finance Manager role:
- Financial reporting and planning
- Management of all day-to-day accounts
- Lead on the development and successful implementation of finance and procurement policies, procedures, and protocols
- Responsible for monitoring and claiming of all grants including working with external funders and partners
- Prepare for audits and liaise with auditors and lead on the implementation of any findings
- Working with the CEO to support the administration of the annual budget and four-year forecast
- Drive the charity’s financial growth by enhancing financial management, reporting, and governance as new income streams are secured

- Salary £30,000 - £34,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience and is pro rata
