Aspiring Teacher – Teaching Assistant
Salary: £90 - £110 per day
Start Date: January 2025
Location: Lincoln, Lincolnshire
Have you recently graduated and wanting to gain paid experience working in a school? Or are you currently studying and looking for part-time work experience in your local schools?
GSL Education are seeking to employ Aspiring Teachers to work in schools based in Lincoln starting in January 2025.
You will gain paid experience in the following roles:
- General Teaching Assistant
- 1:1 Teaching Assistant
- Cover Supervisor – Aspiring Teacher
- Special Needs Teaching Assistant
- Behaviour Mentor
- Exam Invigilator
To be successful you are required to have:
- Hold a degree at 2:2 classification or higher or currently studying at university
- Have a genuine desire and passion to work in the education sector
- Be a flexible, dynamic, and nurturing practitioner
- Be able to use humour as a way of engaging young people
- Be available at least 2 days per week, Monday to Friday, Term Time Only
Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection and that successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks including an enhanced DBS on the update service.
