Reed is collaborating with a forward-thinking national law firm seeking a candidate to join their team in a corporate, client-facing role, empowering over 1,500 colleagues across the UK. We are seeking an Office Host for our Stoke office to deliver outstanding service and ensure a welcoming environment for our guests and colleagues.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Welcome guests warmly, manage their needs, offer refreshments, and ensure their comfort throughout their visit.
  • Maintain a tidy working environment, adhering to a clear desk policy and ensuring meeting rooms are set up with necessary refreshments.
  • Manage stock levels of consumables and stationery by coordinating with the central procurement team.
  • Support the Hospitality team in setting up and managing events and lunches smoothly.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing post and parcels efficiently.
  • Assist new joiners by orientating them around the office, making introductions, and resolving initial IT setup issues.
  • Conduct regular checks to ensure operational efficiency, such as floor walks to monitor printer supplies and general housekeeping.
  • Liaise with the central Office Services team to support operational issues including maintenance and meeting room bookings.
  • Act as the local representative for all Business Services teams and manage local events, ensuring high standards of presentation and catering.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Highly presentable and personable with strict adherence to the uniform dress code.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • IT literacy, proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Flexibility to accommodate early starts or late finishes during events.
  • Proactive and willing to go above and beyond to ensure office operations run smoothly.
