We are seeking dedicated and skilled individuals who are looking to take their career to the next level in a heavy engineering environment. The position on offer is a full-time, permanent role, with plenty of progression and opportunities available within a thriving company. Successful candidates will be trained on a day shift rota, before transitioning to nights after completing training.

Main duties will include:

  • Input and modify programmes on computer controls.
  • Undertake various duties including fettling, painting, and shotblasting.
  • Conduct inspections, brand, and record part and serial numbers.
  • Ensure customer specifications are met by checking dimensions against process sheets or sketches.
  • Clean work areas and maintain equipment as required.
  • Organise tool storage and prepare tools for production.
  • Adhere to all safety and quality processes and procedures.
  • Maintain high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping.

Previous experience in an engineering environment is essential, and FLT licences will be extremely beneficial; as would experience/certification of pendant crane operations, confined spaces and abrasive wheels. Starting salary circa £27000 with shift allowances and premiums added rising to circa £32000.

The role is commutable from Newark, Lincoln, Sleaford, Horncastle, Market Rasen and Gainsborough.
