Military Airworthiness Surveyor | Coningsby, Lincolnshire (hybrid) | Up to £300 per day (UMB)

We’re supporting a multi-billion-pound household name in engineering in their search for an experienced Military Airworthiness Surveyor. Could you be the person they are looking for?

Roles & Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for delivering Military Airworthiness Reviews on behalf of the MOD, working alone or as part of a team.
  • You will demonstrate compliance when delivering the outputs required by the Regulator and customer as required by current regulations and legislation.
  • You will strive to build sustainable relationships with customers.
  • You will be able to prepare detailed technical reports for both internal and external customers.
  • You will be prepared to work flexibly within the company's Military Airworthiness Team.
  • You will seek to identify future business opportunities.
  • You will ensure that a robust code of ethics underpins Mil AR service delivery; adopting in full the ethical principles published by the Engineering Council and Royal Academy of Engineering.
  • You will be expected to uphold the company's values at all times.

Candidate Essentials:

  • Able to commute across the East Midlands with occasional overnight travel (expenses covered).
  • Competence to make engineering airworthiness decisions.
  • Compliant with MRP RA 4972 (Military Airworthiness Review Surveyors – MRP Part M Sub Part I).
  • Knowledge of aircraft maintenance documentation and the MAA Regulatory Publications (MRP).
  • Experience working on fixed-wing aircraft.
