Type of position: Permanent

Working hours 37 hours Monday to Friday (3 rotating shifts)

We are now seeking to recruit an NDT Technician to join engineering manufacturing business based in Lincoln. The appropriate candidate would be responsible for carrying out Magnetic Particle (MT), Dye Penetrant (PT), Acid Etch (AE), and Visual Inspection (VT)

Responsibilities of the NDT Technician include but are not limited to:

  • Magnetic Particle Inspection (MT)
  • Penetrant Flaw Inspection (PT)
  • Acid Etch Inspection (AE)
  • Perform Control and Calibration tests to ensure full compliance.
  • Timely completion of administration data
  • Carry out inspection tasks in other areas when necessary.
  • Compile quality reports where required.
  • May be called upon to work within other areas of the quality department.
  • Other duties as deemed relevant in the fulfilment of the position.

The appropriate NDT technician would have:

  • Qualified to EN4179/NAS410 at Level II standard for Acid Etch (AE), Magnetic Particle (MT), and Dye Penetrant (PT) disciplines.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail and methodical approach to tasks.
  • Ability and willingness to work within a team.

Hours of work:

A Shift Monday to Thursday 6am to 1:35pm, Friday 6am to 12:45pm

B Shift Monday to Thursday 1:25pm to 9:05pm

20% Premium Friday 12:35pm to 7pm

C Shift Monday to Thursday 8:55pm to 06:10am

30% Premium Friday – no shift.
