Plant Operative

Location: Industrial Estate, Allenby Road, Lincoln

Hours: Mon-Fri 6.00-4.00 (shifts) and Saturday/Sunday AM (if delivered work is scheduled). Night work may need to be covered if customer orders are placed (unsociable hours payment will be paid)

Salary: Up to £30,500k depending on experience + £1200 Salary Supplement for being available to work Sundays

Project Partners are now on the look out for an Operative to come and join their fantastic team in Lincoln. To support the Plant Manager with the running of a busy plant. Ensuring H&S is prioritized whilst ensuring the production needs of our customers are met. 

Reporting to the Plant Manager, key tasks will include:

  • Weighbridge - Day to Day Operations
  • Operation of Coating Plant – producing asphalt in accordance with technical quality standards
  • Operation of the loading shovel
  • General maintenance and housekeeping tasks around the site
  • Complying with all Company Health, Safety & Environmental systems, and reporting procedures

Candidate Experience:

  • Experience working in a coating or similar production environment preferred
  • A good understanding of industry Health, Safety and Environmental standards
  • Good communication skills and teamwork are required
  • NVQ Wheeled Loader licence an advantage – though full training package would be given to the successful applicant
  • Flexible, reliable, and enthusiastic
  • Ability to work within an extremely busy team environment
  • Fitting skills / Mechanical experience would be an advantage
