Teaching Assistant - SEMH Support (KS2)
Location: Uphill Lincoln

Simply Education is seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to provide dedicated 1:1 support for a Key Stage 2 pupil with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs at a local primary school in Lincoln. This is a full-time role, requiring a committed and patient individual with a strong background in managing challenging behaviour.
The Role:
- Providing 1:1 support to a KS2 pupil with SEMH needs.
- Implementing behaviour management strategies to support learning and emotional development.
- Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to adapt learning activities.
- Creating a safe and positive environment to encourage progress.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience working with children with SEMH / SEND needs and managing challenging behaviour.
- A calm, patient, and resilient approach to support emotional regulation.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with staff and external professionals.
- A passion for helping children overcome barriers to learning.
