Teaching Assistant - SEMH Support (KS2)
Location: Uphill Lincoln
Start Date: As soon as possible

Simply Education is seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to provide dedicated 1:1 support for a Key Stage 2 pupil with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs at a local primary school in Lincoln. This is a full-time role, requiring a committed and patient individual with a strong background in managing challenging behaviour.

The Role:

  • Providing 1:1 support to a KS2 pupil with SEMH needs.
  • Implementing behaviour management strategies to support learning and emotional development.
  • Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to adapt learning activities.
  • Creating a safe and positive environment to encourage progress.

  • Experience working with children with SEMH / SEND needs and managing challenging behaviour.
  • A calm, patient, and resilient approach to support emotional regulation.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with staff and external professionals.
