HR Advisor

We are seeking an HR Advisor to join a leading organisation on a temporary ongoing basis. This role is based in our Lincoln office, with the flexibility of hybrid/home working for two days per week. The HR Advisor will use their employee relations expertise to support and coach managers across all aspects of employee relations.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Provide advice and case management across the organisation on disciplinary and grievance cases, capability, performance, long-term absence, and AWOL issues.
  • Support the upskilling of managers on disciplinary and grievance procedures.
  • Attend formal hearings when necessary, providing advice as required and supporting managers to finalise robust outcomes.
  • Prepare detailed investigation reports.
  • Report on case volumes, case status, and trends, and update people business partners within their regions on cases that are complex or high risk.
  • Support with the collation of bundles and defence against claims when Employment Tribunals arise.
  • Assist people business partners with HRIS projects and the implementation of new HR systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in employee relations and HR advisory.
  • Strong understanding of disciplinary and grievance procedures.
  • Ability to handle complex HR cases and provide robust, actionable advice.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with HR Information Systems and comfortable with technology.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
