GBR Recruitment are working exclusively with a well-established & progressive Tech / IT products business, recruiting for a diverse Logistics & E-commerce Coordinator role.

In this varied role, the Tech / IT products client is seeking a detail-oriented individual to coordinate the day-to-day operations of their highly successful SME sized e-commerce business. This highly administrative / coordination focused role, involves a wide range of responsibilities, including uploading IT / Tech products photography & product listing onto the company’s website & eBay site (using Magento Web Shop / Adobe Commerce Cloud, plus some use of Adobe Photoshop), controlling inventory / stock levels & Logistics activity using their internal ERP system (inbound repairs & outbound sales deliveries c.100 packages per month with various product quantities inside). The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for technology, ability to learn & a real knack for problem-solving with some exposure to the above listed responsibilities.

The client is prepared to train the chosen individual in some of the above elements, such as the E-commerce / Web Shop activities & tasks, as long as you are strong with administration / coordination.

Knowledge of ERP systems & E-commerce is highly beneficial for this role.

The ideal candidate would ideally have had previous exposure to computerised systems solutions, IT tech products, POS products, Printers, Barcode Scanners, Barcode Label Printers, Telephony Headsets, Vehicle Mounted computers or similar type tech solutions product ranges.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory & Stock Control:

  • Maintain an accurate product database using OrderWise ERP software.
  • Stock control of incoming stock.
  • Optimize stock storage locations & the picking processes.
  • Conduct stock takes to reconcile inventory.
  • Assist with testing & cleaning incoming stock repairs.
  • Verify incoming deliveries against packing slips & purchase orders.
  • Generate accurate shipping labels, customs documentation & packing slips.
  • Investigate & resolve shipping issues / delays.
  • Schedule & book outbound international shipments with preferred couriers.

Marketing & E-commerce:

  • Manage eBay & website product listings, including photo capture & available stock lists.
  • Optimize product listings on our client’s Magento web-shop.
  • Write compelling product descriptions.

Required / Desired Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong Administrator / Coordinator, strong with Excel spreadsheets & Word.
  • ERP / CRM systems experience (Sage, SAP etc.).
  • E-commerce website experience.
  • Basic Marketing / Photoshop experience is desired (not essential)
  • Understanding of inventory control / stock control / shipping principles.
  • Interest in learning skills related to technical product solutions (IT tech).
  • Time served in a similar role.

This role is commutable from areas such as Lincoln, Grantham, Sleaford, Newark on Trent, Horncastle, Retford, Long Bennington, Market Rasen, Boston, Ancaster & areas close to these.

The role could suit someone who is a Logistics Coordinator, E-commerce Coordinator, Stock Controller, Inventory & Stock Control Supervisor, E-commerce Customer Service Coordinator or similar positions.
