An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Mechanical Shift Fitter in the Energy & Natural Resources industry, based in North Lincolnshire. Description

As Mechanical Shift Fitter you will be tasked with the following;

  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on plant equipment and machinery.
  • Diagnose and repair faults on a variety of plant machinery.
  • Ensure that all work is carried out safely and in line with company procedures.
  • Assist in the continuous improvement of plant performance.
  • Work closely with the engineering team to implement effective maintenance strategies.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Provide technical support to the operations team as needed.
  • Adhere to all company policies and regulations.

Profile

A successful Mechanical Shift Fitter should have:

  • A HNC/HND/NVQ in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • Experience in a similar role within the Energy & Natural Resources industry.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to health and safety regulations.
