Description
As Mechanical Shift Fitter you will be tasked with the following;
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on plant equipment and machinery.
- Diagnose and repair faults on a variety of plant machinery.
- Ensure that all work is carried out safely and in line with company procedures.
- Assist in the continuous improvement of plant performance.
- Work closely with the engineering team to implement effective maintenance strategies.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Provide technical support to the operations team as needed.
- Adhere to all company policies and regulations.
Profile
A successful Mechanical Shift Fitter should have:
- A HNC/HND/NVQ in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Experience in a similar role within the Energy & Natural Resources industry.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to health and safety regulations.
