Mobile Plant Fitter

Salary: £43000 + Overtime and Benefits

Location: Mobile role covering - Lincoln, Nottingham, Immingham, Worksop, Gainsborough, Boston, Peterborough and surrounding areas

Our client is one of the biggest building materials companies in the UK. They are currently looking for a Mobile Plant Fitter to join the team in the East Midlands. The Mobile Plant Fitter will be support a number of sites across the East Midlands, but will not have to stay away from home. All of the sites have their own maintenance engineers who will be supporting you in repairs and service work.

The successful Mobile Plant Fitter will:

  • Plan and complete the repair and maintenance of all fixed plant and mobile machinery
  • Supervise on site teams assisting with your work
  • Complete PPM's
  • Complete relevant paperwork - Risk assessments etc.
  • Attend emergency breakdowns

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise required

  • Completed a recognized mechanical engineering apprenticeship.
  • Essential experience working on heavy plant, fixed and/or mobile.
  • Ability to Weld both Arc & Mig would be an advantage
