An organised and detail-oriented Material Planner is required for a leading industrial manufacturing business in the Lincoln area. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all materials arrive to site on time, in full.

The business operates in the industrial manufacturing sector and its products have a Global customer base. The company has a strong reputation for producing high-quality products and have a large manufacturing site in Lincoln.

Description

As the Materials Planner your duties will include, however will not be limited to:

  • Oversee raw material planning for production requirements.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and logistics for timely delivery of materials.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure they align with production schedules.
  • Work closely with the procurement team to mitigate supply chain risks.
  • Prepare and present regular reports to management on material usage, procurement, and inventory.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Profile

The successful Material Planner should have:

  • Worked in a similar planning position within manufacturing.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
