Hours: 3-Shift Pattern (7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, 11pm-7am)
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our client at our heavy industrial facility in Lincoln. This is a critical role where you'll maintain and repair a variety of industrial equipment, ensuring smooth operations through planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and effective reactive maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair mechanical systems including conveyors, chains, belts, bearings, grinders, presses, and hammers, Furnaces.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring equipment reliability.
- Work with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, ensuring optimal functionality.
- Perform regular PPM schedules and respond promptly to reactive maintenance needs.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to improve equipment efficiency and safety.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health and safety standards.
Experience, Skills & Qualifications
- Apprentice-trained and time-served mechanical engineer.
- Strong background in heavy industry (preferred).
- Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems.
- Hands-on expertise with industrial machinery such as grinders, presses, and conveyors.
- Proactive problem-solver with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
