The role involves performing preventative maintenance, achieving high first-time fix rates, and providing expert advice on crane operations.
Candidates should have an NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering field and proven experience as a Crane Engineer.
Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, along with hands-on experience in maintaining cranes, is required.
The salary for this position is competitive, and candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in the field.

Elevation Recruitment Group is working with a well-established engineering company to recruit a Crane Engineer to join their team in Lincolnshire. The Crane Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the proper maintenance and longevity of cranes and lifting equipment.

Key duties of the Crane Engineer include:

Perform preventative maintenance and servicing to prolong the life of cranes and lifting equipment
Achieve a high first-time fix rate to minimise avoidable costs
Provide expert advice on crane-related and lifting operation matters to the team and site
Reduce crane breakdowns through proactive preventative maintenance on key components
Conduct fault diagnosis and root cause analysis on components after failure

We are seeking Crane Engineers with the following qualifications and experience:

NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering field
Proven experience as a Crane Engineer
Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
Hands-on experience in maintaining, servicing, and repairing cranes and lifting equipment
In-depth knowledge and understanding of LOLER
Experience with loader testing
