The Aviation Technician position at RAF Coningsby Lincoln is a 12-month role with a 37-hour work week, operating on a 4-day pattern.
The role offers an hourly rate of £22.57 PAYE or £30.24 via Umbrella.
Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of experience, ideally with Typhoon experience and an engineering apprenticeship in Aeronautical Engineering or a military equivalent.
The technician will perform detailed aircraft maintenance, diagnose faults, and support less experienced team members using approved technical data and procedures.

They work independently using approved technical data and procedures in line with the organisation’s MOE. They can diagnose faults, follow diagnostic procedures, and support less experienced team members in a dynamic team environment Skills & Qualifications:

Typhoon Experience
Aviation Background
Completion of Engineering Apprenticeship, ideally in Aeronautical Engineering, or Military equivalent apprenticeship / qualification
Typically 3+ years experience including type, classed as fully competent with all required 'Authorities' in place.
Demonstrating breadth of systems experience, currency & recency via a Log Book (electronic or paper) capturing skills, knowledge and authorities for working on Aircraft or in workshops.
