Aviation TechnicianDuration: 12 monthsLocation: RAF Coningsby Lincoln, BAE SystemsWorking Arrangements: - 37hrs per week (4 day week, 2 day pattern)Hourly Rate: PAYE £22.57 or Umbrella £30.24  Skilled technician responsible for performing detailed aircraft or component maintenance. They work independently using approved technical data and procedures in line with the organisation’s MOE. They can diagnose faults, follow diagnostic procedures, and support less experienced team members in a dynamic team environment Skills & Qualifications:
  • Typhoon Experience
  • Aviation Background
  • Completion of Engineering Apprenticeship, ideally in Aeronautical Engineering, or Military equivalent apprenticeship / qualification
  • Typically 3+ years experience including type, classed as fully competent with all required 'Authorities' in place.
  • Demonstrating breadth of systems experience, currency & recency via a Log Book (electronic or paper) capturing skills, knowledge and authorities for working on Aircraft or in workshops.
