Location: RAF Coningsby
Salary: £37,356.00 + dependent on skills and experience
- Performing maintenance and diagnostic activities on aircraft or components, including ground handling, flight servicing, inspections, fault rectifications, and system tests.
- Reviewing operational performance of aircraft components and systems.
- Analyzing and diagnosing faults, applying knowledge to effect repairs or suggest procedural improvements.
- Ensuring maintenance is completed on schedule and escalating issues as required.
- Maintaining personal task competencies and receiving on-the-job training to remain current.
- Undertaking support tasks to maintain compliance with the MOE and mandated procedures, including oversight checks and control of tooling/test equipment.
Essential:
- Proven experience, including Typhoon Type or Q course, fully competent with required 'Authorities.'
- Previous supervisory experience in a similar role.
Desirable:
- Experience documented via a logbook (electronic or paper) demonstrating skills, knowledge, and authorities.
- Completion of an Aeronautical Engineering Apprenticeship or military equivalent qualifications.
- City & Guilds 2675/2661 in Aeronautical Engineering and Maintenance or equivalent academic qualifications.
- Aircraft platform training on Typhoon or equivalent.
