Responsibilities:

Conduct daily checks on all furnaces, ensuring operating parameters are controlled effectively.Perform routine checks of furnace operating parameters during system operation.Attend to and resolve faults or failure modes on all furnaces in a time-critical manner.Execute System Accuracy Tests (SATS) and produce corresponding reports to log results.Engage in reactive, preventative, and proactive maintenance with a continuous improvement mindset.Carry out furnace Instrument Calibration/Certification and maintain a calibration register.Manufacture and calibrate thermocouples to meet business needs.Complete furnace surveys and associated reports, identifying areas for process improvement.Participate in continuous improvement activities, including Lean manufacturing techniques, T.P.M, Asset Care, and 6's.Perform additional site maintenance/support tasks as required, within competency and training.Identify personal training needs with your Team Leader and assist in training others, if competent.

Skills & Experience:Competent in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and performance data for targeted system improvements.Multiskilled, electrically biased engineer City & Guilds / Apprenticeship / NVQ level 3Gas Safe training is desirable.Capable of working at height, from ladders and MEWP.Basic level controls experience is desirable.Knowledge and application of safe working practises, along with experience in quality systems and procedures.If you are a dynamic, proactive, skilled Maintenance Technician ready to tackle challenges head-on, we want to hear from you!
