Due to increased production requirements, we are seeking a dedicated individual to join our Manufacturing Team in Lincoln. As a global leader in advancing science and technology, we provide vital solutions to a wide range of industrial markets. This role offers the opportunity to work on highly technical RF and electronic components for niche applications.

About the Role:

As an Assembly Technician, you will collaborate with the Production team to assemble and deliver advanced RF and electronic assemblies. This is a hands-on role requiring precision, technical expertise, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble, wire bond, solder, epoxy, PCB and RF assemblies according to technical documentation.
  • Maintain accurate production data, records & documentation. Ensuring changes are updated.
  • Support a safe working environment in line with Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations.
  • Meet production output targets as agreed with management on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
  • Complete customer repair work within agreed timeframes.
  • Participate in housekeeping and visual management initiatives.

What We're Looking For:

  • Must be a UK national & will need to pass security vetting upon employment.
  • High level of dexterity and experience with hand tools, soldering, wire bonding, and silver epoxy mounting, adhering to ESD compliance.
  • Ability to interpret technical data accurately.
  • Qualifications or experience in electrical/electronic engineering.
  • Effective management of personal inventory.
  • Flexibility to work extra hours or shift work to meet customer demand.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Further education in Electronics or a related field.
  • Experience using SAP in a production environment.
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
