If so, GSL Education are looking for a dynamic Cover Supervisor to join schools across Lincoln on a flexible supply basis, starting immediately.
Responsibilities of the Cover Supervisor:
- Supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring a calm and productive learning environment.
- Deliver pre-set lesson plans and ensure students remain on task.
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
- Provide support and guidance to students where needed.
- Report back to teaching staff on student progress and classroom activity.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with young people (in a school or similar setting) is desirable.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- A calm, confident, and adaptable approach.
- Ability to build rapport with students and maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
- A flexible and reliable attitude towards work.
- An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
