This established business is a large growing organisation within the Transport & Distribution industry. With a primary focus in warehousing, the company has a presence across various locations in the UK.
Description
- Manage and oversee logistics projects within the company
- Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth project progression
- Implement and manage changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved
- Create and deliver comprehensive project reports
- Evaluate and assess the results of a project
- Identify and manage project dependencies and critical paths
- Ensure health, safety, and environmental policies are adhered to
- Maintain positive relationships with clients and stakeholders
Profile
A successful Project Manager should have:
- A degree in a relevant field such as Business, Management, or Logistics OR be qualified by experience
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the Transport & Distribution industry
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in project management methodologies (Prince2, PMP)
- Previous experience of managing new DC builds and infrastructure changes,
- Strong client-facing and internal communication skills
- Solid organisational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking abilities
Job Offer
- An estimated salary range of £70,000 - £80,000 GBP per annum
