Your Time at Work
As a Materials and Product Controller, your responsibilities will include:

Material Management and Ordering:

-Monitor, maintain, control, and administer all material requirements for the site(s).
-Collaborate with group procurement to benchmark suppliers and identify opportunities.

Production and Workflow Coordination:

-Plan and liaise with the Production Planner and departments to meet requirements.
-Raise multi-jobs and ensure efficient production planning for group-produced items.
-Monitor subcontracted workflows, raise purchase orders, and consult on new product types and sizes.

Query Resolution and System Improvement:

-Manage queries related to production, dispatch, and delivery times efficiently.
-Collaborate with IT to improve Product Control systems and procedures.

Team Collaboration and Data Management:

-Work closely with colleagues to share information and monitor workflows.
-Input accurate data into systems and produce documentation for production.
-Assist in training new staff and support the Production Planner with purchasing and planning tasks.

Compliance and Quality:

-Undertake hygiene, quality, and environmental responsibilities to meet and exceed company standards.
-Adhere to Health & Safety and Equal Opportunities policies, reporting hazards or deviations.

This role requires flexibility, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.

The ideal candidate will possess:

Experience:

-Previous experience in inventory management, planning, or coordination is desirable.
-Familiarity with MRP (Material Requirements Planning) and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems is advantageous.

Skills:

-Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Excel.
-Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-Self-motivation and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
