Job Title: Quality Escape Investigator

Location: Lincoln, covering 2 sites: Teal Park and Ruston Main Works

Contract Details:

- Contract Type: Temporary

- Contract Length: 6 - 12 months (potential to be extended or made Perm)

- Working Pattern: Full Time

- Shifts:

- To Start: 8am - 4pm

- Then Flexible: Shifts between the operational business hours of 6am - 10pm

- Salary: £20 - £40 per hour Depending on Experience

- Holidays: 28 days up to 12 weeks' service, increased to 34 days post 12 weeks' service (inclusive of Bank Holidays)

Responsibilities:

As a Quality Escape Investigator, you will play a crucial role in identifying and resolving issues in the manufacturing process to ensure maximum quality and customer satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Identification of problems.
  • Pulling information from the system.
  • Discussing problems with the team and creating clear problem definitions.
  • Collaborating with the team to understand the root cause of the problem.
  • Developing countermeasures to resolve the problem and prevent recurrence.
  • Capturing all details in the vision management board.
  • Working effectively as part of a team.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience in quality control or a similar role.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Desirable Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in the manufacturing industry.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma
  • Experience using SAP.

Technologies:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to adapt well to new systems.
