Behaviour Mentor

Job Type: Full-Time

GSL Education Lincolnshire is seeking a Behaviour Mentor to join a secondary school in Lincoln to support students who require additional guidance in managing their behaviour and emotions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with students to develop positive behaviour strategies.
  • Provide 1:1 mentoring and small-group interventions.
  • Assist in de-escalating challenging situations in a professional manner.
  • Collaborate with teachers, pastoral teams, and parents to create tailored support plans.
  • Help maintain a positive and safe learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with young people in an educational or youth work setting.
  • Strong understanding of behaviour management techniques.
  • Ability to remain calm and supportive in challenging situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
