Freelance Quantity Surveyor - Lincoln base, WFH and sites - Main Contractor - Major Water Framework - Civils

Your new companyYou will be joining an industry-leading Civil Engineering contractor based in Lincoln carrying out high-value water infrastructure and non-infrastructure schemes for a major water framework. This multi-accredited organisation has a strong pipeline of work across multiple sectors and has a proven successful track record of delivering high quality projects across the country. Due to increasing workloads, they are now looking to onboard a Freelance Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team.Your new roleAs Quantity Surveyor you will be reporting to the Managing Quantity Surveyor and be responsible for, but not limited to, processing subcontractor payments, analysing subcontractor quotes, ensuring project costs are correct, attending pre-contract meetings, managing contractual and commercial aspects of working relationships with subcontractors and customers, as well as liaising with the site team.What you'll need to succeedIn order to be successful, you will hold a degree/HND/HNC in Quantity Surveying and have previous experience surveying in heavy civils, preferably in the water and/or utilities sectors. You will be well-versed with NEC3/4 suite of contracts and be financially astute.
