Quantity Surveyor

Randstad are looking for a QS to work for a healthcare works in Lincoln. Work is to start end of Feb and is for a minimum of 3 months, maximum of 9 months.The QS will be involved with variations during the project, valuations, contractual documents such as delay notices. The work will be doing fire risk and security works on hospitals.
Work is full time , 5 days a week and you can work from home 2 days a week.
The Role
- £350-400 per day (rate negotiable)- LTD or UMB or PAYE
- Chasing client payments.
- Helping with general site admin.
- Measuring and quantifying materials for site.
- Organising meetings for site.
- Find out a client's needs and assess if the plans are feasible.
- Negotiate contracts and work schedules.
- Monitor sub-contractors and stages of construction.
- Report on costs and prepare accounts for payment.
- Keep up to date with construction methods and materials.
- Follow Health and Safety regulations.
- Strong understanding of forms of Contracts (NEC, JCT, etc.)

Requirements
- RICS / CICES accredited degree
- HND/HNC qualification
- Relevant healthcare experience
