Our client is currently seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a temporary basis. The role is based in Lincoln and involves working on several sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing and administering contracts, primarily under NEC and JCT forms
- Overseeing post-contract duties including CVR and reporting
- Handling contract administration and change control processes
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Communicating effectively with project teams and external parties
- Utilising strong Excel skills to manage project data and financials
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant project guidelines and standards
- Providing confident and competent quantity surveying expertise on-site
Job Requirements:
- Experience in Quantity Surveying, preferably within the water sector
- Strong understanding and practical experience with NEC and JCT contracts
- Proficiency in post-contract activities including CVR and reporting
- Excellent contract administration and change control skills
- Ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively
- Advanced Excel skills for data management and financial reporting
- Confidence and competence in on-site surveying duties
- Flexibility to be site-based for a minimum of 3 days per week
