The role of Accounts Assistant

  • Assist in the day-to-day financial operations of the business
  • Processing supplier purchase invoices accurately.
  • Requesting supplier statements and reconciling to the purchase ledger for payment
  • Assisting in chasing debtors and supporting credit control
  • Performing daily banking tasks and generating end-of-day reports
  • Reconciling accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Assist with month-end accounts preparation
  • Performing general administrative duties as required by the finance team

Skills & Experience Required

  • Minimum of 1 years' experience in an accounts or finance role
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with great attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office packages
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • A team player with a can-do attitude and supportive approach
