Are you a talented and passionate Design & Technology looking for a new teaching opportunity? Simply Education is working with a well-established Secondary School in Lincoln to fill an exciting opportunity to join their team until the summer break. This full-time teaching role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your teaching career in a supportive and engaging school environment and will include full planning, teaching, and marking responsibilities. The school are looking for a Design & Technology Teacher to join their team to teach both KS3 & KS4 from as soon as possible until the summer break (QTS is not required).
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Monitoring pupil progress and providing a supportive environment for all learners
- Working in collaboration with colleagues, parents, and school staff to ensure that the enhancement of pupil development is prioritised
- Participate in CPD, staff meetings, and whole-school activities
- PGCE or an equivalent teaching qualification
- A passion for secondary education and strong skills in communication, organisation and classroom management
- Understanding of the national curriculum for KS3 and KS4
- A proactive approach to teaching and the ability to encourage pupil engagement
