Responsibilities of this role:

This is one of three such roles in the same office and involves the management and supervision of a group of 6-8 social workers/social work apprentices.

The team has a very positive reputation for sound professional practice. We have an extremely good record in respect of staff retention, with the majority of staff permanent. A solid track record in safeguarding work, inclusive of care proceedings and supervision of staff, is required.

We need someone who is confident in managing child protection thresholds. The successful applicant will manage, on a 3 weekly rota basis, a duty system and be responsible for planning and managing workloads.
Requirements of this role:
- Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
- Must have minimum of 2 years’ post qualified experience.
