Our Client, Lincolnshire County Council, is seeking a Practice Supervisor for the Family Assessment Support Team (FAST) in Lincolnshire.

Responsibilities of this role:

  • This is one of three such roles in the same office and involves the management and supervision of a group of 6-8 social workers/social work apprentices.

  • The team has a very positive reputation for sound professional practice. We have an extremely good record in respect of staff retention, with the majority of staff permanent. A solid track record in safeguarding work, inclusive of care proceedings and supervision of staff, is required.

  • We need someone who is confident in managing child protection thresholds. The successful applicant will manage, on a 3 weekly rota basis, a duty system and be responsible for planning and managing workloads.

Requirements of this role:

  • Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
  • Must have minimum of 2 years’ post qualified experience.
