Social Worker/Childcare Advocate - Lincolnshire 

- Home based

- Initial 12 month fixed term contract

- Advocacy / childcare / child protection background preferred

- Salary up to £28,000 plus travel costs

A reputable advocacy provider is looking for an Advocate with experience in childcare to cover their Lincolnshire region. The role will focus on the Families First Pathfinder and be responsible for visiting clients and attending case hearings to ensure parents have their voice heard. Duties will include:

- Supporting parents going through child protection cases

- Sitting in on meetings with social workers and being involved where childcare decisions are made

- Being involved in cases and plans

- Challenging any decisions that are disagreed with

- Support in helping to find legal advice where needed

To be considered suitable you will need the following skills/experience:

- Ability to commute to sites across Lincolnshire (mileage costs covered)

- childcare/protection background preferred and understanding of legislation 

- Experience in advocacy
