Qualified Social Worker - Children

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Social Worker to join a supportive and stable Family Assessment and Support Team. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with children and families, providing high-quality social work services to support and safeguard vulnerable children.

You will be responsible for carrying out assessments, managing cases within Child in Need (CIN), Child Protection (CP), and Care Proceedings, and ensuring that children receive the right level of support and intervention to promote their well-being and safety.

As part of this role, you will be working within a duty system, where you will be required to be in the office five days a week during your duty week, which occurs once every three weeks. Outside of duty weeks, there is a flexible hybrid working arrangement that allows for both home and office-based work. You will work closely with families, partner agencies, and other professionals to deliver effective interventions and make a meaningful impact on children's lives.

We are seeking a qualified and registered Social Worker with experience in children's social care, particularly in assessments, child protection, and care proceedings. You should be confident in managing a caseload, working under pressure, and making sound professional decisions in complex situations. Strong communication, analytical, and relationship-building skills are essential to engage effectively with children and families and ensure the best outcomes.
