Lincolnshire County Council is looking for a Senior Practitioner for its Adult Safeguarding team for a full-time position lasting 4 months.
The role offers a competitive pay rate and requires a qualified social worker who is fully registered with Social Work England.
Candidates must have strong post-qualified experience in adult social care, along with specialist safeguarding knowledge and management experience.
The position involves supervising a team of Safeguarding Officers and making confident decisions based on risk assessment and evidence.
The role includes one day per week office work in Sleaford after the initial induction period.

The role will involve the following:

Be part of an exciting pilot within Lincolnshire Adult Safeguarding Team.
To supervise a team of Safeguarding Officers to ensure that safeguarding referrals are triaged in line with our duties under The Care Act 2014.
To be a confident decision maker who has risk assessment at the heart of their decision making and bases their judgement on evidence and 'what works' for individuals and ensure that resources are committed on the basis of understanding risks.
1 day per week office based in Sleaford (after the initial induction period)

Requirements of the role:

Qualified Social Worker
Fully Social Work England registered
Must have strong post-qualified experience working in adult social care
Must have specialist safeguarding experience and knowledge
Must have management/supervisory experience
