- Our simulation and training company client is looking for Lead Software Engineer to join their team
- Up to £65,000 per annum + benefits
- Hybrid working 3 says per week onsite in Lincoln
- C++, C#, VR Suite, MACE, VBS4, X-Plane
ABOUT THE CLIENT
My client is a simulation and training company delivering training in the fixed wing, rotary wing and maritime environments to military and civil customers around the world. This role will require you to go through Security Clearance, therefore, you must have been a permanent resident in the UK for the last 5 years.

THE LEAD SOFTWARE ENGINEER ROLE:
This will be a hands-on technical role, providing support and guidance to a team of 8 engineers. You'll be leading the design and development of complex simulation, modelling and training solutions within the defence and commercial aviation sectors. You'll also contribute to the defining and application coding standards and oversee the management of DevOps and GitHub.
LEAD SOFTWARE ENGINEER SKILLS:
- C++ and/or C#
- VR Suite, Mace, VBS4, X-Plane
- DIS/HLA
- Unity 3D and/or Unreal Engine
