Role Details:
- Full-time, Monday to Friday
- Starting September 2024
- Working with learners one-to-one and in small groups
- Supporting pupils with various special educational needs
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Provide tailored support to pupils with SEN
- Assist in implementing individual education plans
- Work closely with teachers to support learning strategies
- Help create an inclusive and nurturing environment
- Promote independence and confidence in pupils
The ideal candidate will have:
- Prior experience working with children (SEN experience a plus)
- Understanding of various special educational needs
- Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Flexibility and adaptability in supporting diverse needs
- Own transport (beneficial due to school location)
